Personal Experience & Biography

Christopher J. Donnelly is a partner at Schofield Law Group specializing in condominium law and civil litigation.  As counsel to hundreds of condominiums across Massachusetts, Chris serves as a strategic advisor to associations and their managers in all aspects of community governance, planning, and management.  Chris advocates for condominiums in all manner of disputes including contentious litigation with developers, contractors, and neighbors, and advocacy before local zoning and planning boards.

Chris also brings a results-oriented focus to the firm’s litigation practice.  He represents individuals, businesses, and consumers in a range of litigation matters including: commercial disputes; consumer protection (Chapter 93A) litigation; zoning, permitting, and land use matters; and disputes involving title to land.

A community leader and advocate, Chris is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association, and he previously served as Director of the Beacon Hill Civic Association, as Co-Chair of the Beacon Hill Zoning and Licensing Committee, and he is a past Chair of the Boston Ward 5 Democratic Committee.  Chris is a cum laude graduate of Bridgewater State College and of Suffolk University Law School.
