Christopher J. Donnelly is a Partner at Schofield Law Group specializing in civil litigation and condominium law. Chris represents dozens of condominiums across Massachusetts in all aspects of community governance including management of significant repairs and improvements, enforcement of community rules, drafting and amending complex condominium documents, and condominium lien enforcement.
Chris also brings a results-driven focus to our litigation practice in areas including consumer protection (Chapter 93A) litigation, probate litigation, landlord-tenant litigation, and other complex disputes.
An active community leader and advocate, Chris is a Director of the Beacon Hill Civic Association, Co-Chair of the Beacon Hill Zoning and Licensing Committee, Chair of the Boston Ward 5 Democratic Committee, and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Prior to joining Schofield Law Group, Chris was employed with a plaintiff-side firm focused on employment discrimination and enforcing whistleblower rights. Chris has also served as a Congressional staffer, and has interned with the Cape Cod and Islands District Attorney’s Office and the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Chris is a cum laude graduate of Bridgewater State College and of Suffolk University Law School.
